Austin, Texas

Of course the main purpose of my trip was recruiting at University of Texas, a huge school. Here is the famous clocktower where a sniper picked off a bunch of kids one crazy day.

Although it's hard to capture in pictures, the capitol building is one of the most impressive I've seen.

The building in the very back left, which is hard to see in this picture is also one of the most beautiful skyscrapers i've ever seen, especially at night.

Church St is a bricked off area of the old town with shopping and what not.

Austin has these "famous" weird moonlight towers, which are basically street lights from the 1800s. It's the only town to still have them. I travelled with a local and he didn't know about them, despite there being 17 of these spread throughout Austin.
