Chicago, IL
Took a random late summer trip to Chicago. I had never been there and I kind of wondered what happened to it. It was in every movie and TV show in the 80s, but now it's all about New York. Turns out Chicago is still there, and its pretty cool... like New York, but doesn't smell as bad.

We stayed in one of the oldest and prettiest hotels in the Loop. The El train rides above the street creating scary poles in the middle of the road to make parallel parking even more fun.

Downtown Chicago, with the Sears tower in the background.

We were right accross from Millennium Park.

It had all kinds of crazy art, like this cool mirror blob thing that lets you see a reflection of the skyline.

It reflects me too, so I guess i'm not a vampire.

There was also the weirdest thing I've ever seen. Called the Crown Fountains, there are two giant glass towers facing each other accross a shallow pond.

They have video screens with a video of a random person's face. They kind of stare at the other tower for a while...

Until they spit water on the screaming children below.
