The 17 year invasion of the Brood X Cicadas

Why am I the only person that remembers these things? First they crawl out of sketchy holes in the ground.

Then they leave their gross exoskeletons on the trees.

Then they become these huge bugs which make a noise that sounds sad when you only hear one of them. I feel bad whenever i see a dead one, cuz the poor bastard waited 17 years to mate, only to get killed in his first minutes alive.
