We decided to take a small plane back to San Jose to avoid the busses. This was the local airport. It was literally a parking lot and a bench with a runway. No people, no tower.

It was the smallest i've been on...what better time to try a small plane then in a third world country!
We had one stop before San Jose at this even small airport, which may or may not have been paved. But it did have a thatched roof hut to cover its bench.
It was neat seeing the pilots do their thing in the cockpit.
