Nova Scotia, Canada

View from the top of that previous lighthouse.

There were lots of neat New Englandy-type towns.

There is lots of history in Nova Scotia. This is Shellburne, one of our favorite places there.

A view from our cottage near sunset.

See? It's not always foggy, we had several nice days. This particular day we went hiking to the Kelmajunct Seaside Ajunct, where after a hike we saw Seals and seabirds.

The highest tides in the world are in Nova Scotia. Low tide and high tide can have a difference of like 20 feet. This is a dry river bed.

But when the tide comes in, the "Tidal Bore" comes down this river and quickly fills it up.

Here is the same dry river bed, only 10-20 minutes later. It's now a rushing fast river.
