Ottawa, ON

The U-20 World Cup was in Canada, so we decided to go up to Ottawa for a weekend and catch some of the action.

On the way we stopped in Binghamton, NY for the night. I've never even heard of the town, but it has a decent little inner city, and we stayed at a downtown hotel accross from "the clubs" evidently.

The hotel used to be city hall.

Binghamton is set in a valley 60 miles south of Syracuse.

It actually had highrises and such.

It's a college town, so the shops don't open until 8am on Saturday.

Ottawa was a very pretty city, and looks like an old European one.

We walked from the hotel to the game, like Vancouver, the city is very walkable and people were biking everywhere.

More scenes along the canal.
