Vancouver, BC

Our window at night.

They had this cool mirror by the hotel elevator that told the weather.

Vancouver was also very walkable, so we walked from downtown across the river.

Vancouver's skyline is actually pretty ugly at first glance...all the buildings kind of look the same and weird, but eventually I realized it's because they are mostly residential high rises, and have lots of windows and porches.

Granville Island is like their version of Harborplace. Except it's not an island, and is in fact under a bridge.

It had a really cool, large public market, with lots of neat dead things.

We then went for a walk on the beach.

As Vikings raided the shore...

They had a neat large urban park, that reminded my of Hyde Park in London.
